This is an excellent hotel with superb food and the bonus of beer being brewed on the premises. The only reason I didn’t give excellent ratings on all categories was the shower could do with being upgraded and water pressure wasn’t good enough .

Room 8 was comfy although the mattresses were quite soft. Be warned when opening the window the top one drops down and is very difficult to close. We over looked a flat roof top but this didn't detract from the view. Both breakfast and evening meals were lovely. Breakfast room was delightful and airy with a nice view of the garden. We ate our evening meal in the Bar area which was cosy. Although there is parking at the front this is not the hotel car park, the actual car park is round the back.
