Getting the key out of small box not clearly marked or indeed explained in the email was very stressful. This is a real problem. Hotel reception closes at 4pm!!!!

The property is charming, staff is knowledgeable and very helpful, breakfast was excellent and good variety of items, hotel is located in a very nice area of Berlin and close to transportation. Enjoyed my stay very much.

The hotel was solid on atmosphere, with high ceilings, large windows, and period furniture. It was not so solid on comforts like a shower big enough to move about easily or a meaningful breakfast.
