Parking was great and river view was amazing. Rooms could use some repairs but the staff was friendly and helpful!

We were traveling through and cane upon this motel on the roadside. It is next to the Wanawah River. We sat outside for a bit on a bench and watched the sunset and listened to the many songbirds. It was a pleasant stay for 1 night, the bed and shower were great. Mike was friendly and helpful at check in/our.

The room was reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable but the staff is rude. There is a link for the Wi-Fi that will not connect . When I contacted staff, twice, they gave me a password that made no sense because there wasn’t a link to use it with. When I asked the owner to show me, he said he couldn’t help me and he would call about it the next day. He nearly shooed me out the door and locked it behind me. What I discovered on the way back to the room was the link that needed the password could only be accessed outside. Then I got my phone on, but bringing my Roku was useless as it could never connect. I even stretched it towards the door and got the password entered into the correct link but it would never connect. I only needed a cheap place to stay the night for an early morning medical appointment. I would not stay there at length. To just get a shower and grab a wink it’s ok, provided you don’t need anything from staff. Shame too. It’s a lovely location and my room was facing the river. Could be a nice stay with certain improvements.
