Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-).

Beautiful small Alpine villiage very comfortable historic inn and friendly staff - delicious local breakfast - great hiking nearby.

For Cogne and Residence Chateau Royal are the most wonderful part of our journey in Italy. We were so regretful for not staying here for more days! It's no where but Paradise!
