comfy bed, headboard falling off, hotel needs repainting as it is looking tired. clean room but noisy (can hear every movement in the room next to us). not the best breakfast, sausages particularly poor. ok if you just want a cheap room for an overnight stay.

A rather dated hotel ,thin walls, but really good staff who try hard to give guests a pleasant stay

Really horrible stay, damp on all the walls, mold in the bathroom, paint chipping off, uncomfy beds, dirty surfaces and not clean. Though it had breakfast with it we only ordered toast as we could see the cutlery was dirty. I took pictures and will upload if i can. Staff said it was recently taken over, however can see other reviews saying they have said that for months. I do not feel it is an excuse for the level of damp and mold in that room. It made all 4 of us really poorly the day after and I thought I was going to have an asthma attack while there. My son has horrid eczema and it flared up really badly too. I would not recommend this hotel. If we didn’t need to stay we would have left after an hour in the room and we left promptly in the morning. Not worth the £120 paid.
