Good location and comfortable Just be aware of the live music in the bar that is on until 11,30 at night on a Friday and Saturday...no good if you want an eatrly night...even tho the rooms are on the second floor!

Nice location and staff. Decent room, fair price. Lack of wifi. Nearby parking provided, good price at £2 for 48 hours. Pleased overall.

Macheala booked us in, she’s so friendly and helpful, a great asset to this old pub with rooms, it’s not a hotel. The entrance door for guests is piled high with cigarette ends, not a good look. Our room at the top of a very narrow staircase was so small, the bed was a small double and we didn’t get much sleep. Not fit for two adults. The room was so hot but we couldn’t keep the window open as the pubs cellar cooling system ran all night long with the system just under our window. They don’t offer breakfast which is not included, until 10 am, too late as we had a bus to catch at that time. Real hotels offer breakfast from much earlier. Very disappointed and not worth the money paid.
