Great vintage Inn. Very nice staff, great breakfast bar, clean room, comfortable bed, and lovely soft pillows! Elton, at the front desk, was such a nice guy. He made our accommodations very comfortable, and gave great tips for local exploration!

The staff are fantastic! Great location and really what is expected in a 100yr old building - rooms could use some refreshing but the staff/owner, breakfast, location & proximity on the island are perfect!!

Friendly staff, but slow service. To be fair, we booked around 30 minutes before arriving because our flight back to the mainland was cancelled. After I checked in, I had to wait around 30 minutes to get into my room although people who checked in after me (and booked at the same time) got their key first. The pool is very small, and the hotel is very old and shows its age. The interior of the rooms was very early 90s I'd say. However, the room did seem clean, and the AC wall unit worked well. Bed was very firm - a little too firm. But the property definitely has the rural, untouched Kauai vibe, with a big green mountain as the backdrop, and chickens running around everywhere. Expensive for what it was, but it did the trick for a last-minute overnight stay.
