I had a pleasant and comfortable one night stay. The They haven't completely solved the challenges of the condition and structure of the 100 year old house, but have made a good effort.

I like that this property hosts dogs, which I don’t mind paying extra. However, I was not expecting the requirement to put the dog in a crate to stay in the room (this was not mentioned anywhere in the description). Since I didn’t bring a crate, I didn’t have much choice but to rent one from the owner, which costs an extra $50 in addition to the dog fee of $25. These charges must also be in cash, which in itself seems a bit fishy. The house is three stories, and our family was put on the top floor. No elevator. The room was hot and we kept the fan on all night. Initially we let the window open but since there’s no screen, mosquitoes started coming in at dusk so we had to close the window. On the plus side, the location is good, walking distance to the main street where you can find food options. It’s also not too far from the glass beach (no glass).
