It is an apartment building. We did have trouble getting our entry code so found that stressful at the time. The area around the apartment building is not that great. 5 or so blocks away are some nicer restaurants etc. To get anywhere if you don't have a car, the bus and street car is about 2 blocks away. It does take some time to get to the Rogers Centre. You do need to walk a fair distance still after the street car.

The hotel is modern, very clean, and feels quite new. Its location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I even walked about 50 minutes to Chinatown, which was manageable—and a nice way to balance out how much I ate! The area also felt safe, which made the stay more comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay with easy access to dining and attractions.
