The staff had been extremely rude and biased while dealing at the hotel. Staff had been Unfriendly and insensitive to kids. Highly recommend to avoid this place.

The Bridge Inn is in an ideal location for Scafell Pike only 20 minutes away. The restaurant and bar have been done out very nicely and it has a warm and cosy feel. Our evening meal and breakfast were very good. However my room was very tired and needed some maintenance. The floor boards creek so you can hear people walking around in other rooms. But the bed was very soft and cosy. The lady on reception seemed under pressure and wasn't as welcoming as she should have been. But if you want accommodation in the middle of nowhere then the Bridge Inn is ideal.
