Checking in had a little hiccup due to the pin pad. WiFi was nonexistent and was a little disappointing in the evening when we returned and weren’t able to communicate. Good location and the cabin room was a pleasant stay. Nice area to walk the creek. Would recommend the WiFi fix and stocked firewood would be nice.

It was just as described. Cozy, intimate and romantic. It would have been nice if the fireplace was in working condition. Also, several website need to be updated because they show the on-site restaurant as still in operation when it is not. Was a bit of a disappointment to arrive on a Sunday night and have nowhere nearby to eat other than fast food options or making the trek into Lexington. However, for what you are paying the cost is perfect and the atmosphere is nice and secure. When you stay in the cabin you are literally right on the edge of the road-- every big vehicle that comes by you will hear and even the big rigs might shake the place a bit, but after a while this gets a bit relaxing and with the blackout curtains pulled, can be almost even soothing white noise. I was here to decompress a bit before a hard work week. Will have to come back with my partner and experience it as a proper 'second honeymoon' getaway.
