This is a lovely historic building with beautifully appointed rooms and a Five Star Steakhouse. We had the best meal of our entire 16 day trip to the UK-the steak was the most flavorful of any I have ever eaten. An absolute MUST VISIT if you eat red meat. The only issue we had was the staircase to our room. They did assist us with our heavy bag but it was a chore. Hotels.com should insist on knowing #of stair steps required for those of us who need to know. Breakfast was delicious-a lovely pub, with beautiful rooms, but being young and healthy is recommended.

This is a nice little high-end pub/inn. We stayed two nights and though the building is old, with wonky floors and tight staircases, it's very warm, cosy and relaxing to stay in. I would recommend it and stay again next time I'm visiting in Oxford :D Not too far from the city centre either, ~ 20min walk if you're leisurely.
