Room was compact but had everything we needed. Amenities are also sparse but sufficient…no gym but free membership at Crunch; continental breakfast at 7:30 was fine. Great that they allowed us to store luggage.

The level of noise in my room was ubearable you basically hear all what happens on 2nd avenue. The hotel needs some serious sound proofing. I must say earplugs and a white noise machine were provided. The location is great.

Quaint & charming little hotel; it’s truly in the name “little Charlie” Very good use of space! l had a pleasant stay, staff were helpful, breakfast was good. Rooms are rather noisy though, but there is provision for ear plugs… Location was also great, writhing a short walking distance to the Ford Foundation & grand central station, plenty of eateries too including a local shake shack!
