Quiet, relaxing community with lots of green spaces. The hotel was nicely renovated; the attached restaurant was of high quality.

So time of year is a major factor when booking at this hotel as with most authentic German hotels there is no AC in the rooms. Avoid a sunny room because masonry buildings retain heat from the day. The breakfast room and courtyard dinning were superb.
