I emailed months prior with a question and never got an answer, which was somewhat critical to my plans. Its a small property on PCH, right off the road. Surprisingly was fairly quiet at night although I was next to the washing machine and that was quite noisy for a few hours. A few noisy cars on the road and in the lot. Clean and stylistically like most Red Roof Inns. Polite staff. Bed was pretty hard. I did not sleep well. Could not get the AC at a good setting and was either sweaty or cold, as I could not adjust the direction and was right next to the bed. No breakfast, but coffee and microwave in office. No hair dryer. For a quick stay, it will do fine.

NOTE: Hotels.com said check-in was at 3 p.m. The inn said it was at 4 p.m., so we had to wait longer than expected. This area is a little sketchy, but the inn itself is fine. There's constant street noise, but you can mask it by using the a.c. The parking lot is small--I only mention that because it's possible they run out of spaces if there are a lot of travelers and extra vehicles. The room was neat and clean. They welcome pets.

The room was a bit smaller than expected and I also didn’t realize that there are still smoking rooms around. I haven’t paid any attention to that detail while booking, because in the past in other hotels it was always non smoking. So I ended up in the only Queen room available, that happened to be a smokers room. I never smoked in my life, so that was an experience. Anyway, also no microwave in the room, never encountered that either. But if you really need one, go to the lobby. The floor could use some serious mopping, our feet were dirty after coming out of the shower. The towels partly looked dirty too, probably because people use them on the floor to get out of the shower. Also the towels had tears and big rips, some really need replacing. Once I came late back and parking was all gone, luckily the front desk man was around, he put his car in the back to make space. Thank you for that. The bed was comfortable, the people friendly. And my dog was welcome too, that’s why I chose this one in the first place. Others often time have no pet policy.
