Safari West Wildlife Preserve & Resort
Guided, open-air Jeep tours of this 400-acre wildlife sanctuary are offered daily (by reservation only). Located in Santa Rosa, this preserve is home to more than 400 mammals and birds.

Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve
Nestled in the heart of the Russian River Valley, this 240-acre redwood grove offers both peaceful and serene walking and hiking trails throughout the reserve. Historical information is available at the visitor center with ample picnicking available amongst these majestic giants. Horseback riding is available through the Armstrong Woods Pack Station.
