First let me say, I’ve stayed at this property many times. I was always satisfied. This trip wasn’t so great. Went to check in the guy at the desk was very RUDE. I booked 3 rooms. When I asked him if I could upgrade one of the rooms to a room with a microwave and a refrigerator. He said yes, but it would have to be two double beds. My sister says that’s fine. Then as the conversation keeps progressing, he gets nastier and nastier. He was hard to understand, from a foreign country. Smarts off to me several times. I kept my cool, which my sister was surprised. Then when she goes to pay for her room, she merely asks “how much for the upgrade before she pays for it, he very nastily says, “we don’t have any rooms available to upgrade to” wait!!! You just told us you did. Of course nasty reply again. Ok so we pay get the heck out of the office head to our rooms. Her room has a microwave. Hmm ok. Now for the room I was staying in. Right side of the bed electrical doesn’t work. Bed covers/sheets don’t fit the bed and come off when you sleep/sit on the bed. Bathroom you get 2 towels only. The shower curtain has the pink mold on it at the bottom, shower head is just above a mist, while my husband was showering water turns cold on full hot side. I will never stay at this hotel again. Something has changed, maybe ownership?? Motel 6, you can leave the light on but I won’t be back. Sad that this motel has gone down hill so fast.

Traveling with my dog was easy and convenient at this location. Great to have the beach so nearby.
