The Fontana dei Desideri (or ‘Wishing Fountain') is immersed in the lush landscapes of the Mamuntanas district, just 5km from beautiful Alghero and just 5 minutes' drive from that city's wonderful beaches.
It is a new facility comprising 8 terraced mini-apartments, two of which are suitable for disabled guests. Each 37m2 apartment is en suite and features an air-conditioned double bedroom, air-conditioned lounge with kitchenette, sofa bed and TV.
Each apartment has a veranda. There is also an excellent swimming pool, which is open at all times and allows you to enjoy a swim in harmony with your natural surroundings. There is a small vegetable garden, where the vegetables that we have cultivated are picked fresh every day and served up every evening on the barbecue.
Our facility is located a mere 7km from Alghero airport and just 500m from Mamuntanas train station.

Great place to relax with the kids for a few days

Loved this place, wish we could have stayed longer. It was quite difficult to find, we asked at another hotel out in the country if they could direct us, the receptionist was annoyed because other people turned up there asking for directions, she asked us to 'inform' the hotel we were supposed to be at to improve their signage. However, we eventually arrived, were very pleased with it, ideal stay for an early flight from airport about 20 minutes max drive. On arrivalI explained to Stephanie, the lady who checked us in (she could have been the owner, but her English wasn't great and my Italian is worse) that we had an early flight and she gave us our breakfast the evening before so we didn't go hungry. When trying to find your way, if you get to a Brick yard on the left hand side of the road, you have gone too far the turning to the hotel is just before.
