Very nice hotel in a great location. Far enough from the bustle and noise of Times Square to be a pleasant area, but well within walking distance of all activities. The young woman at the front desk was very pleasnt and accommodating! She always had a smile and a kind word.

I’ll be nice and start with the good: Convenient location Most staff were friendly and helpful Bed was reasonably comfortable Now the bad: Room was at best clean-ish. Dirt and dust built up in corners and every nook cranny etc beyond the high traffic areas. Mold in the shower and bathroom Generally beat up and run down No closet! Just a cheap rack to hang a few items. No in room safe! No phone, clock, coffe machine, etc that is usually found in your average hotel room The horrible: No heat in the room. When I brought this up with the front desk they said they couldn’t do anything “today” but would get an “engineer” to check it out. No one ever came for the entire 3 night stay. They sent up one flimsy fleece blanket. No WIFI!!!!!! The network they tell you to connect to was not available the entire stay. Highly insecure property. Anyone can walk in during day time hours and access upper floors by the stairs without a key/card. Often times we walked in and there were no visible staff, including the front desk. Overall this is a place doing the bare minimum. The fact that amenities that are actually listed as available are actually not makes you feel ripped off. The lack of any pride in the operations and maintenance of the property make this a place to avoid.

I had a terrible stay at this hotel and I certainly will not return. First, I booked a suite, and the photos of the room that were posted online were not representative of the room that I was given. When I asked about this discrepancy, a gentlemen working the desk that night informed me that the photos on the website were of the "presidential suite" instead of the Manhattan suite that I booked. This error is because of the hotel and not due to me as the client. He then informed me that he couldn't do anything about this error and that they were sold out for the night so they couldn't change my room. I asked for the manager and he told he that he didn't know who they were because there are several and they show up randomly. He was very rude and unhelpful. The room I was given was run down with poor decor. The ac/heat also didn't work properly. The couch had stains on it, the tv didn't work without maintenance coming to fix it. It was a poor room to give anyone. The next morning, a lady was working the front desk and she also confirmed the hotel had posted the wrong photos for the suite I booked. However, she was a lot more helpful and respectful. She worked with me to find a better room, which I appreciated. However, due to the treatment I received for the gentlemen on night one, I will never return. I also feel deceived and misled by the hotel because they posted the wrong photos of the wrong suite.
