The staff were friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. However, the cleanliness could be improved. The hairdryer was dusty, my room wasn’t serviced for two days, and the toilet seat was loose and kept shifting, which was inconvenient.

This stay at La Trente was unfortunately the low point of our recent visit to Paris. The room was not ready when we were checking in around 11 pm and the staff was not very helpful due to newness. There is nothing worse than hoping for a comfortable rest at the hotel after a long travel day, and only to find out the room had a dirty towel on the floor, the bed was not set up. I spoke with the staff member the next day who was helpful and offered us complimentary breakfast as a customer service gesture. Unfortunately the first night experience resulted in loss of confidence and I would not ever return to this hotel nor recommend it. It is a costly 3 star hotel that is not worth the $. We stayed in our room for the 5 nights and did not request service even once because of the loss of confidence.
