Lovely hotel! On the edge of town with an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was attentive, welcoming and helpful - especially Caroline! Enjoyed chatting with her and finishing our evening with a relaxing glass of wine on the porch. Only suggestion is to fix the coffee machine or make hot coffee available earlier in the morning. Breakfast was delicious, but not available until 8:30.

I have stayed at many inns in the Berkshires, especially in Lenox, and Kemble Inn is definitely one of the best. It's a beautiful building with amazing views from the back of the mountains. There are only 9 or 10 rooms, but each is well-appointed and spacious. They are immaculately clean. This was my second stay there, although I have eaten at their restaurant ("Table Six") many times. I have gotten to know the staff and I must say that to a person they are fabulous people! In fact, a few have become friends over time. They work extremely hard to please their guests. They exude warm hospitality. The inn is in the center of Lenox within walking distance from several excellent restaurants and shops. It is a 5 minute drive to Tanglewood. The prices are high, but they deliver in terms of quality. Excellent food, too.
