Pleasant hotel located in a pretty park. Difficult to get to without a car particularlyon a Sunday(I didn't have one) Quiet, clean room with bathroom and excellent large towels. Bath a bit high fir a smaller, older person. Very pleasant staff. Ok breakfast...good choices but cooked food felt it had been sitting for a while.

Having stayed here so many times in the last few years I've lost count, it's sad to see it's recent decline. The pub and food remains excellent but the accommodation is suffering from abuse by certain guests. During my last visit for business, my neighbour had tv on loud until 2am. At 1am I decided to knock on their door and ask them to turn it down. No
