Great large hotel, positioned perfectly. It was a little under staffed and you feel tensions around staff and managers. Our room was very comfortable and well worth the money. The breakfast was self service and like going back in time coffee wise. We would stay again

This was likely once a great hotel but those days have long gone. The room was tiny and tired, the food was awful, the paintwork was peeling, the general cleanliness was poor. On the positive side, the hotel is well located, there is ample parking and the staff tried to do their very best against the odds.

Free parking is handy, though not advertised very well and limited. Check in was easy thanks to helpful staff. The building is old and tired - floorboards creek and go beneath your feet. Room was not particularly clean - dust everywhere and needs curtains that cover the windows as light came in at sunrise. Also a lot of damp in our room. Breakfast was good however.
