This is very comfortable lodging with a friendly Fairbanks vibe. There is a shared kitchen, lots of books, and interesting Alaska curios and art. Located in a quiet residential area and off the beaten path, you can still walk to a great coffee shop, to the UAF campus and museum, and are a short taxi ride from a major Fairbanks grocery store. The owners have invested in solar have a great atrium. I would love to see all they have growing in the summer.

The owner was really nice but there was cigarette smoke coming from somewhere while she was checking me in. Then she checked in a drunk guy right after me so that was really weird. The room was nice and clean and smoke free and had a small refrigerator and a space heater to supplement the room heat and had a jacuzzi. The bed was average and the drunk guy was cursing and swearing until Midnight before the manager called the police and had him hauled off so that kept me awake a few more hours than planned.

Heat sucked, dryers didnt work after paying over 10 bucks to even get them half way dry. Windows leak cold air bad, and wifi didnt work so had to buy movies to watch.
