The hotel exterior feels a bit dilapidated but the rooms, while basic, were comfortable enough, but with thin walls. Bed was comfortable and the en-suite had a bathtub. Maybe we had one of the older non-renovated rooms? The continental breakfast was good. Not a bad place as an overnight pit stop from the motorway

We have stayed in Campanile hotels many times but we have noticed a decline in the standard of the hotels over recent years which is a shame. We used to enjoy the Campanile hotels because although they are basic, they are clean and reasonably priced. However: - The restaurant was closed when we visited. This is the second time we have visited a Campanile with a restaurant and been unable to use the restaurant for dinner, despite specifically choosing this hotel because it had a restaurant. - The last meal we had in a Campanile was very good, but we were charged £35 for a bottle of Alsace wine (the only white wine available, even though we were in the Bourgogne region). - The shower in the Campanile is in the bath, meaning that there is a high step into the shower. In this particular Campanile, neither of us could move the shower tap so we were unable to have a shower. We have decided to no longer use Campanile Hotels in future

Motel room which wasn't so big but had a bath and bed was good with extra pillows. The room was clean but the whole place felt a bit dated with old looking carpet in room. Breakfast was great and well presented. Overall compared to other pit-stop hotels, not as good value for money. Staff friendly.
