This majestic Norman castle is set on a hill overlooking the Volturno River and the town of Limatola, 0.6 mi away. Typical of what I expected staying at a castle, but there were lots of cups and glasses etc left in different areas of the caste from past parties or gatherings that you saw as thou walked around touring the castle. Room was clean though.

Staying in a real medieval castle was an amazing experience. The location was unique, the property itself was well maintained and absolutely beautiful. The staff was very attentive and the chef and food quality was outstanding. The fine dining was Michelin level and just fantastic in every way. Make sure you definitely try the croissants in the AM at breakfast. Our stay in Italy was amazing but this made our stay extra special.
