Although the roads getting to the Guesthouse left something to be desired (narrow and tricky for 2-way traffic), the Guesthouse itself was very charming. Rooms were modern and spacious enough. Cooked breakfast was excellent (first time having black pudding, yum!). Great starting point for Catbells walking route and an easy drive to other picturesque walking tours. Not too far from downtown Keswick and the Castlerigg Stone circle.

No other words but amazing to describe our stay! The room was cozy and clean, the tea and scones Rob served us upon arrival let us know we were in for a great stay, and you can't beat the location (so close to Cat Bells!) for views.

Enjoyable stay. Great location
