There was no information in the room about services and no one to ask in the office. On our second night we asked about booking for dinner and were told they weren’t opening the restaurant that night. No explanation or suggestions. We had to drive back to Kirkwall to have dinner, which was excellent, however if we had known about the restaurant we could have made plans during the day. We were also told via a note on the back of the door to leave out the sign if we needed our room made up but there was no sign to leave out. We just wanted fresh towels. It’s a great place to stay but it was definitely end of season wind up in terms of service.

Great facility with nice rooms and good food. The very few people working were doing a great job with not much help. No reception people or anyone answering the phone.

Excellent location, food good. Some outlets a lamps didn’t work but generally the place was comfortable .
