The room had roaches in bathroom, bed bugs found in my bed, mold on tile caulk in bathroom Evening host was unprofessional and dismissive with no remedy to issues other than letting hose keeping know

A stay at the Red Roof Inn on the bad side of town would probably be better than this hotel. The entire floor stank of mildew and mold, the carpet in our room was wet the entire stay, beside the bed was completely soaked in what I fear was probably toilet water. The carpet also looked to be stained from some sort of bodily fluid in multiple places. The humidity inside the room was so terrible we went outside into the Louisiana humidity to get RELIEF. there was no house keeping for the 5 days we were there. We went to the front desk to get towels everyday and unfortunately several were stained in a questionable manner. The beds are hard as a rock and due to the state of the rest of the hotel I was terrified to sleep in them. The pool is out of service and drained, as well as the gym being closed and out of order, the floor was covered in water and towels the whole time. The best part of this stay was when we checked out to go home and immediately shower.

This hotel does need a remodel and I understand it will get one soon. We got there, I changed for the pool. Pool was being painted —:( . Go back up, and my husband tells me we accidentally were booked in the wrong room and we are changing rooms, next room wasn’t clean, they changed us to a third room (a suite) and the staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms need a lot of help but for the price- you get breakfast and a clean place to sleep very affordably. I would recommend it for someone wanting an affordable night without a lot of frills. The staff will be very accommodating !
