Beautiful room and four poster bed. Very friendly staff who looked after us even though we were late checking in.

I stayed in what turned out to be a staff bedroom, and unfortunately the experience was very poor. The lock on the door was inadequate and did not make me feel secure – I ended up placing a chair behind the door overnight for peace of mind. The separate bathroom was also insecure, as any staff member with a key could have entered while I was inside, so again I had to use a chair as a makeshift lock. The room itself lacked basic comforts: there was no bedside table, the bed was pushed against a filthy wall, and there was no mattress protector provided. These details made the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. When I returned the key in the morning, no one asked how my stay was, which gave me the impression that the management were already aware of the substandard conditions. Overall, I did not feel safe or comfortable in this room and would not stay here again.

The hotel is very beautiful and very thematic, bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be staying again
