Brek hotel search MCP server
Brek provides an authless, read-only remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for compatible AI assistants, including Claude and ChatGPT. It searches hotel inventory, returns property facts, and compares live room offers without creating a reservation or processing a payment.

Intended purpose
- Search by destination, dates, rooms, guests, star rating, property type, amenities, and price.
- Review a hotel's facilities, photos, policies, and guest-review details.
- Check live room availability and compare public rates with Brek wholesale rates.
- Compare breakfast, refundability, taxes, fees, and cancellation terms by room offer.
Connect Brek
- Open the connectors or apps settings in your compatible AI assistant.
- Add or enable Brek. If you are adding a custom connector, use the URL below.
- Enable Brek for your conversation, then ask for a hotel search.
No Brek account or paid plan is required to search and compare hotels.

MCP tool reference
search_accommodations
Searches a destination and returns matching hotel IDs, facts, masked wholesale price bands, public-rate comparisons, and Brek links. Supply a destination, check-in and checkout dates, occupancy, and optional price, star, review, property-type, amenity, cancellation, and sort filters.
get_accommodation_details
Returns undated facts, photos, amenities, policies, and guest-review data for one propertyId returned by search_accommodations.
get_accommodation_offers
Returns live room types, breakfast, refundability, cancellation terms, masked wholesale rates, and public comparisons for one hotel. Supply either a valid propertyId or an exact hotelName, plus dates and occupancy.
The connector does not create reservations, process payments, or change your Brek account. Your assistant sends Brek only the trip and hotel criteria required to answer your request.
Input validation and error messages
- Use a propertyId returned by search_accommodations. An unknown ID returns a message naming the invalid ID and explaining how to obtain a valid one.
- If an exact hotelName cannot be matched, check its spelling and destination or search first and use the selected property ID.
- Dates use YYYY-MM-DD. Check-in cannot be in the past, and checkout must be later than check-in.
- When both price limits are provided, minimumPrice must be less than or equal to maximumPrice.
- Every room requires at least one adult. The number of child ages must match the number of children.
Prices and booking
Your AI assistant is used for discovery and comparison. Contract-restricted wholesale totals remain masked in the conversation. Select Unlock on Brek, View deal, or See price to continue securely on Brek with the same stay details.
Sign-in, traveler details, exact private prices, payment, and booking confirmation are completed on Brek. Public-rate links may continue through Brek to the named travel provider, whose terms and cancellation rules apply to reservations completed there.
Troubleshooting
- Include destination, check-in, check-out, room count, adults, and children's ages in your request.
- If hotel cards do not appear, confirm Brek is enabled for the conversation and try a new conversation.
- If the connector stops responding, disconnect and reconnect Brek in your assistant's settings.
- If an external link does not open, approve the assistant's link confirmation and try again.
- Hotel prices and availability can change; Brek rechecks them before you book.
