Recently did the Spartan Race in Big Bear. The hotel was in walking distance (~15 min) from Big Bear Mountain Resort. Hotel was clean, plenty of lounge space, breakfast was good, and staff were friendly and offered tips of where to eat. Its also less than 10 min drive from just about anything to do in town. Definitely will book again when visiting.

As a member of Hotels.com for many years and have been in hundreds of hotels, this got to be the worst experience. First of all ,as seniors ,we weren"t by an elevator, but the LAST room around the horseshoe corridor.The TV didnt work.The electric blinds didn"t work properly.The heating/air conditioning didnt work at all. We froze our ass at 32" at nite.The breakfast was even bad.The eggs were cold and potatoes was hard like a rock.I've been in lots of Hamptons Hotels and its ashame in a beautiful town ,this hotel is the pits.The young girl at the front desk had an attitude problem.
