Staff was friendly. Parking was difficult as it is one way in and out. Rooms heat would not turn on. Lots of road noise due to just being of 50. Room was clean and tidy.

Hometown Inn is a wonderful budget hotel nestled in the hills as you enter Athens. It is not far from the campus/Court Street but due to its location being near the highway, my friend and I took Ubers too and fro without issue. The beds were very comfortable, they have cold AC and the facilities were up-to-date. The man at the desk (I assume also the owner) was kind and helpful during check-in and check-out. The only issue was that the doors and trip along the floors were pretty dirty, BUT everything else was perfectly clean! I think maybe the housecleaning people missed those spots while going through everywhere else. All-in-all, very worth the price! I would stay here again.
