The charming Antonio’s House is just 5 minutes’ walk from Sitges town center and its beaches. It has an attractive terrace and offers luxurious rooms with free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom. Each of the 6 rooms at Antonio’s House have a private balcony overlooking the garden. Each one comes with a fan, a fridge and a safe. There is a bright conservatory with armchairs. The owner can provide information about what to see and do in Sitges and Barcelona. Sitges Train Station is around 10 minutes’ walk away, connecting you with central Barcelona in 40 minutes. Great place close to the beach and the train station. Really quiet and the seating area outside the room and in the communal areas was lovely. Lots of nice touches and breakfast had lots of options.

I was attending a big trade show in Barcelona and wanted to escape the hectic city environment at the end of the day. Antonio is a wonderful host and the experience is much better than in an impersonal hotel or an apartment where you have to fend for yourself. Antonio has thought of everything - the breakfast kitchen is amazing, and provides a huge choice (even Bloody Mary to cure your hangover!). It's about 10-15 minutes walk to the train station and from there about 30-40 minutes into Barcelona, and Sitges itself is a lovely place to visit - it has a deserved reputation as the fun capital of the Catalonia coast - there is a lot going on. Anotonio's House is not in the noisy central part of town, and while it is on a busy road, it is set well back. This is my third visit here and I hope to return.

This is a great place to stay for the seaside and historic, vibrant Sitges itself, and also as a base for Barcelona if you don't want to stay in the big city itself. It's about 35 minutes by train from Sitges to Barcelona and the price of a ten-journey ticket is very reasonable at around EUR35. The last train back is about midnight. I was here for a big trade show; it was nice to get back to a quiet and very comfortable place at the end of the day. The owner is very hospitable (it's the only place I have stayed where paracetamol, cava and the ingredients for a Bloody Mary are available in the breakfast room "in case you need them". I have stayed here twice now and would readily do so again.
