What a lovely spot! You are in walking distance of the beach as well as the downtown shops, bars, restaurants, but feel like you are a world away. Our room had a very private, wooded terrace that looked out at the sea, with folding doors that opened up to the whole room. There is a fireplace to keep it cozy at night, and a huge jetted tub for luxury. Outdoor areas included an always-on firepit, and another a terrace area with a view - if we'd been part of a group, these would have been terrific places to gather. We did enjoy hot brandies by the firepit the night we arrived - great welcome! The charming office also has a fireplace and coffee/tea/brandy/fruit for your drop in pleasure. Only thing we missed was a coffee maker/tea kettle in the room, as the office closed at 8 at night, so we couldn't make bedtime tea. BUT it is an easy walk to the office to grab coffee in the morning, and the folks across the way at their sister property (Il Fornaio) were happy to send us home later at night with cups of hot water. We LOVED our stay here, and will happily return.
