Overall this a good, cheap hotel if you don't mind things being a bit basic. Check in was a bit fiddly, through a front door and lock box with two different codes. Lots of steps. Information about the parking was a bit sparse so we rang the hotel, we talked to a person who didn't speak English well and didn't understand what we were asking, but eventually told us we could stay parked for free, information we would have liked in the listing. Carpark used by junkies, mind the needles. Our room had no toilet paper; spare items are apparently kept on a table in the main hotel but we didn't find these until we left. The room otherwise had everything we needed, shower head was leaky, soap dispenser fell off the wall, finish in bathroom was grotty. Unfinished electrical wires were draped around the walls. Worst, however, was the exit light, right over the bed, which lit the room up like daylight making sleep extremely difficult. Quite unecessary and very unpleasant.

Booked this hotel as had limited choice for weekend unless I wanted to pay stupid money. After reading the reviews I have to say I was quite worried. Parked the car in the carpark behind but then had to walk round the road to get in (not ideal with cases) as no back entrance unless leaving. Room was tired and our headboard was loose on the bed and my daughter looked behind it and so much dirt and rubbish! It was ok but really felt like in a hostel. When checking out couldn’t get the code to work for the key drop off, phoned customer service who wasn’t that helpful so ending up leaving key on a table. If no affordable choices the it would be ok but last resort. Given the location it really could be a great boutique hotel.

The mattresses were filthy, stained, full of hair and springs poping out, the bedding was not changed and carpet not hoovered, also, no wifi was available for more than 16 hours.
