while the hotel is dated , the room was clean and a bath was perfect after a cold wet hike. Staff were really good and breakfast was lovely. Would happily recommend and will definitely come back .

Lovely, welcoming hotel. Very approachable receptionist. All staff were very friendly and accomodating. Will definitely recommend and will return. Great walks and scenery on doorstep! Beautiful pub called the white lion Inn 2 min walk away, with very friendly atmosphere. We had delicious hot breakfast at Patterdale Hotel!
