Staff was excellent the location brilliant, the room was tiny in the basement with noticeable damp.

For the price, this is a good hotel, and very handy for King's Cross/St Pancras. Everything about it was fine for one or two nights, assuming most of your time will be spent elsewhere: it is a good place to sleep, but not for any significant creature comforts.
