The hotel was empty and for the price very nice. The people having it was so friendly, and we had the best pommes of our trip. They were amazing. Very nice spot to have as start point for the very nice area. Do take the old train from Drei Annan hoche - we loved it

The hotel is outdated and needs investment to improve the stay. The proprietor was welcoming (she unfortunately had very little English and unfortunately our German was very poor too - which made communication more challenging). She got up early to see us off and was helpful when the bed broke as soon as I lay down on it. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable, the single mattresses on the double bed leaned outwards from the centre resulting in a night of perpetual fear of rolling out of bed. This could be a great hotel in a location synonymous with outdoor sport.
