The room was clean and spacious, if sparsely furnished. The air conditioner worked well and was not overly loud. There are windows that open, but they face a public corridor, so not for overnight use. Parking was fairly convenient, even for a second story room. No elevator was not a plus. The motel is conveniently located near an excellent family restaurant , a Starbucks and a Vons grocery store. Not walkable to "Old Carlsbad", but a quick drive. Bring your own toiletries, as only soap if provided.
