Arrived at the property and it's way out of the way up the mountain overlooking Trier.. Certainly not a ten minute walk to the ancient Roman bridge... No reception as such just a guy sitting by the hotel bar and restaurant.. Wanted to charge me for my stay even though I had paid through Hoteld.com Could see from arrival the hotel was going to be a disappointment.. Shown to the room and immediately thought I'm not staying here.. But unfortunately late in the day and paid for to find alternative accomodation.. The door to the room had a shabby repair after being kicked in... The bedding and pillows were well worn and ready for the bin.. The bed sheets had holes in it... Ok... don't advice staying here unfortunately.. Maybe after the owner invests in a little DIY and new bedding etc..maybe.. Because it's a nice location for hiking and cycling for sure.. Unfortunately I'm unable to add pictures..

Always nice and clean in Germany. You get what you pay for. A decent clean room with bathroom. Free parking. Breakfast available. Beautiful view, but not from our room.

First time in my experience i have got no key from my room. The only advantage that you are not aware of checkout.
