Hotel Alter Wolf was beautiful. The area around the hotel was walkable and felt very safe. The Wolfsburg castle was a short walk away and we spent a lot of time there. My main downside is that there was not a refrigerator or coffee machine in the rooms

We get what we pay for. The hotel has seen better days. But was in a good working condition. Very good parking. The key boxes gave not only me a bit of a challenge. Two other guests arriving around the same time as me also had a bit of a challenge to figure thing out.

great location to downtown for walking, has lots of parking and next to Wolfburg castle and parks. Have to be OK with self check in after two.
