The check in process was smooth, and the staff member on Fri night was lovely. She mentioned that we could leave our luggage after checkout on Fri. The room was more spacious than other places we stayed as a family of 4 (you don’t have to squeeze between wall and bed to get by each other). The boiler has problems on Fri night so one kid got a hot shower and 2 of us had a lukewarm splash. We tried to call the desk about the water and the phone just rang. My husband went to the desk about the hot water, we were told about the boiler and then later that night it was better, but the shower couldn’t regulate between scalding and freezing. The housekeeping was great, no complaints. I’d probably stay here again if it weren’t for being told at checkout that leaving luggage would be $10, cash only. If I’d been told that in advance, or if there were a sign and a QR code I wouldn’t have a problem and would have gotten cash out. We asked to put the charge on the room and the check out person said we could bring the cash back. The whole thing was reading sleazy and at that point I didn't want to leave anything with her so we (happily) paid more money to leave luggage at a souvenir store. Will never go back and it’s mostly for that check out experience. I’ve stayed at Pod and Row happily and recommend them for family-friendly places near theaters.

Truss is my go-to whenever I come to Manhattan. The staff are awesome, the location is ideal, the place is always clean and well-tended. I couldn't recommend them more.

There were a few problems on the first night but they got it fixed. In Our 2nd room there were some AC problems, they did their best to rectify the problem but it did not help
