Although slightly out of it on Long Island City it was very easy to get into Manhattan. The hotel had everything you needed and there were plenty of fast food options when you got off the subway back to hotel. The only issue we found was when there was a problem with subway you were a bit stuck as it was only one line. If it is your first visit stay in Manhattan.

excellent, kind staff. one of the worst breakfasts i’ve had in a hotel. but at least i could grab things like seeds and hardboiled eggs for my room. maybe the more indulgent pastries and waffles, etc were better idk. but the kitchen staff was PHENOMENAL. customer service oriented, friendly, hardworking. kept the dining area clean and were very focused on treating guests well. filthy room, filthy laundry facilities. but overall, all the unpleasantries made better with a fantastic staff

Nice clean room, friendly and helpful staff, and great location. Loved the free popcorn! Spent a week there and never had the breakfast because it was always a madhouse (at various times), but the hotel seems to do its best stocking items and cleaning. Definitely well staffed, just an insanely high volume of people. Luckily it was just a bonus for me, grabbed coffee and on my way, but if you're banking on that breakfast then get there as early as possible or be prepared for crowds. Also! Similarly, the elevators are routinely backed due to the volume of people lined up, it's worst in the morning (8-10) but be aware. I'd recommend taking the stairs whenever possible so maybe get a lower floor. All that said, if you're prepared for the crowds then it's quite a nice place to stay with good subway access.
