Unfortunately we visited in April when the pool, golf, and coffee truck were closed. It was super cold and windy so we couldn't really enjoy any outside activities. But the room was super cute and clean and the mid-century modern vibe of the motel reminds you of the 50's and 60's. We had the queen suite which was super nice to have a separate sleeping space and mini kitchen. The only improvement I'd recommend is brighter lighting! Even in the kitchen area, there are only a few pendant lights which made putting on makeup for the dance competition a bit tricky

The hotel was good and relatively clean and comfortable for what we needed. It was also perfectly placed as the boardwalk was right across the street from it. As we went in late April it was still the offseason, so it was not very full or crowded. In the on season the noise and traffic must be absolutely crazy. Due to the location of this hotel, it will be fully booked for the whole season. Two ways to improve this hotel would be the following: There is no coffee table (or any table for that matter) to put things on if you are in the living room. Even if a small table was added, it would be useful. We had to use the bar stools to put things on. Also, in the bedroom there was only one night table. The blinds, while they do twist close, still let a lot of light in, which is fine during the day but not so nice at night when you are trying to sleep. There were also translucent blocks in the bathroom that let in light at night, so that door had to remain closed. Room darkening shades would also be welcomed.
