Walnut Inn is a typical hwy side motel. It is clean and close to the downtown area

The night clerk seemed like he didn't like his job, or he just wasn't a people person. Basically not friendly. The TV didn't work and my son plugged his phone in, the plug wiggled around. We were exhausted from going to my sister's funeral service, so we didn't complain that night. Also,it was hard to find with GPS. This was on 2/20/26, we checked in around 9 or 10pm. If I stay in Checotah Oklahoma again I will not stay at Walnut Inn again.

It was fine because we needed to sleep. But would not stay here again. Dirty. Stained sheets and pillows. Not sure of cleanliness.
