Close to everything, no maid every day ,, was there for 3 days ,, no cleaning and no extra towels

My 8-year-old daughter gives this hotel 5 stars and I support her in this. We loved the charm of an older building with beautiful stained glass windows in the entry. The winding staircase and all the cozy little nooks had their charm. Just a stone throw away from Chateau Frontenac for fabulous photo opportunities. Plus, the restaurant La Buche across the street is top-notch Quebecoise dining.

The 1 star is only for great location and nice personnel. This hotel is TERRIBLE!!! We reserved a room for three people but we got a bed and a futon instead of two beds. The blankets were dirty and the bathroom was small and uncomfortable and the hot water was difficult to manage. There was a shared toilet next to our bed witch made it very noisy at night. Some stairs were uneven and dangerous to walk on. We payed $170/night + taxes (overall $700 for this)! Unbelievable! I recommend anyone visiting Quebec City to avoid this hotel at all costs.
