The room was clean and though dated fixtures, they try to maintain things, even if it seems there is patchwork/bandage cover ups. No ceiling fans, ac functional. The chief complaint is that the guest room doors require a hard close which makes noise from everyone slamming doors. The beach is 2 blocks away and there is no view of anything from rooms. It’s central and convenient but in a kind of run down part of Waikiki. Lots of food and C-store options. The mandatory amenity fee is annoying and does not add value. They could just make the room rate $140 and call it a day

This is a decent hotel for the money you pay in the area. You cannot park and parking is very very difficult in this area. If you have to park in a parking lot overnight, you can add an additional $700 to your week stay. The rooms have a kitchen which is really nice and I was able to buy a few simple things for breakfast which did save a lot of money. There is food directly across the street, food trucks, that have excellent food and very accessible, along with a coffee cart for mornings that has excellent coffee and great people were running it. Two block walk to the beach which is awesome, the ABC store which is like a convenience store that's all over Waikiki. Very convenient location and average as far as the hotel itself goes. I would definitely stay here again because the cost is low the thing that is a pain in the butt, is the parking situation. If you don't have a car, there's no worries about that.

I feel unsafe and did not like the smell of mildew in the three different rooms. I tried. I had to check out the next morning.
