Hi! I booked a cheap room for one night before I flew out of London. I don't think I got the right room that I booked as I booked a superior double room and this room was far from superior, more like standard or sub par. It was room 12. There was no shower curtain or door or glass partition on the shower which was like a box, no tub, with the shower head all green from years of calcium build up - so I ended up not taking a shower. One of the faucets didn't work. The curtains were tattered like they had been there for years. There as a small table in the room with the cover of the drawer falling off. The sheets were clean but stained. The pillows were extremely flat. The sink was the size of an airplane sink where there was a shelf above it so I had to lean over under the shelf to brush my teeth, the bed was a tad hard which did not make for a restful night sleep, the room was tiny with stains on the carpet. Overall, you could see the wear and tear from years of people staying in the room. There was no nightstand. Now for the pros - there was a small fan in the room to give some sort of white noise and air circulation, the toilet worked, the door locked giving me a sense of security, there was an extra heater in the room albeit I stay in the spring so I didn't need it. The light above the bed was nice and provided some mood lighting. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again, especially for the price I paid. It would have been worth it for 1/2 the price I paid.
