me and my partner had a 2 night stay .the weather was good staff very helpful .good food friendly barstaff. decent breakfast.all adds to a lovely weekend.would stay again

We arrived late as were out for a family meal in Llangollen. Everything was lovely except I think our room must have been above the bar area as we were kept awake by a lot of swirling girls (maybe a hen party?) anyway that’s not the hotels fault. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The only thing I’d say was a slight problem was I’d try to call the reception throughout the day to advise we’d be checking in after dinner and within a 5 hour period there was no answer. So I emailed and still had no reply. Eventually I messaged their Facebook page and some replied from there. I think they could have lost many potential bookings by having no one manage the phone or the emails. But then it’s not my business!! A nice hotel and would definitely stay again.
